About the Business

Ruby Homes is a growing Australian organisation providing professional services across Construction and Real estate. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and management reports
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory
• requirements
• Prepare BAS, IAS, and assist with tax returns and audits
• Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decision-making
• Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as an Accountant
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
