The Role

As an Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, you’ll work on the installation, service, and maintenance of systems in a range of settings. You may be placed with clients servicing supermarkets, mining sites, defence bases, large retail chains, or public facilities.

Key Duties Include:

• Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong client relationships
• Comply with workplace health and safety policies
• Mentor apprentices, where applicable

Key Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration
• Proven experience across residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC systems
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills
• Commitment to safe, high-quality work practices
• Willingness to relocate to regional Australia
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing

A positive outcome on a skills assessment / OTSR issued by Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) is highly desirable, but not essential. Please indicate on your application if you have this or are in the process.
