Role Overview

Successful candidates will be placed directly with our client employers and will be responsible for carrying out trade-level air conditioning and refrigeration work across residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments. All roles are genuine, ongoing positions and require applicants to operate competently and independently at trade level.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Fault diagnosis and rectification of mechanical and electrical issues
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Safe handling of refrigerants in accordance with Australian environmental and safety regulations
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
• Completing job cards, service reports, and compliance documentation
• Liaising with supervisors, clients, and other trades on site
• Ensuring all work complies with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements

Mandatory Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of full-time, post-qualification work experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration trade
• Relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or overseas equivalent suitable for skills assessment)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised at trade level
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Proven, verifiable employment history in the occupation

Licensing & Compliance

• Refrigerant handling licence or eligibility to obtain upon commencement
• Electrical disconnect/reconnect experience where applicable
• Willingness to obtain any state or territory licences required to perform the role
