The Role
As Assistant Centre Manager, you will:
Work alongside the Centre Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
Step into a leadership role, supporting and mentoring educators across the service.
Gain hands-on experience in compliance, regulations, and quality improvement.
Build strong partnerships with families and contribute to community engagement.
Support with rostering, enrolments, and administration while maintaining a child-first approach.
Take on leadership responsibilities when the Centre Manager is away.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to transition from the room into management or for a current leader looking for growth into a future Centre Manager.
About You
You are:
✅ Diploma or Bachelor qualified in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
✅ Experienced as a Room Leader, Educational Leader, or current 2IC/Assistant Manager.
✅ Ready to expand your leadership skills and step into a bigger role.
✅ Passionate about compliance, safety, and creating a thriving centre environment.
✅ A team player who values collaboration, support, and positive culture.
