We’re seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our Brisbane service team, working across Vermeer equipment. This role is advertised externally as an Auto Electrician and is known internally as a Service Technician.

About the Role

As an Auto Electrician / Service Technician, you will:

• Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical and electronic systems on heavy equipment
• Fault find using diagnostic software, schematics and technical manuals
• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on Vermeer machinery
• Accurately document work completed, parts used and time taken
• Maintain tools, equipment and a safe, clean work environment
• Work closely with the workshop, field teams and customers to deliver solutions
•  Represent RDO Equipment professionally at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified Auto Electrician (essential)
• Experience with mobile plant, heavy equipment, ag or construction machinery (highly regarded)
• Strong electrical diagnostic and fault‑finding capability
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
• Current driver’s licence
• Full Australian work rights or eligibility for sponsorship (must already be in Australia)
• Safety‑conscious, proactive and solutions‑focused
