We're Travellers Autobarn, and we run a fleet of rental campervans across Australia, NZ, and the USA. We build them, rent them, and sometimes sell them — all with a mission to help travellers hit the road and explore.

We're expanding our Sydney workshop team and looking for a capable, hands-on mechanic/technician to help us keep our iconic Toyota HiAce campervans road-ready. If you enjoy variety, a great crew, and getting stuck into practical work without the pressure of a fast-paced retail shop, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Servicing and maintaining our Toyota HiAce campervans (all petrol)
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
• Working on camper fit-outs — think 12V systems, cabinetry, fridges, fans
• Doing basic handyman and body repairs (no big panel beating)
• Helping out the rest of the team where needed

What You Need

• Trade qualification (Cert III) in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• 2+ years' experience as a qualified tech or mechanic
• Full Australian working rights
• Valid driver's licence
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Your own tools
• NSW Pink or Blue Slip ticket? Even better (but not essential)
• Experience with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
