AV / ICT Installer – Programming & Commissioning Specialist

Salary & Benefits: $100,000 – $105,000 + Super, company vehicle, fuel card, phone allowance, laptop

About the Role A growing AV / ICT integration business is seeking an experienced Installer with programming and commissioning skills to deliver commercial projects across Sydney. You will work hands-on installing, programming, testing, and commissioning AV and ICT systems in meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, digital signage, and audio environments.
What You’ll Do

• Install and commission AV & ICT systems on client sites
• Program control and DSP platforms (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS)
• Set up video conferencing and collaboration solutions (Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms)
• Integrate displays, audio, control, networking, and UC platforms
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and hand over systems to clients
• Travel between Sydney project sites, working independently

Technology You’ll Work With

• Displays & Video: Samsung, LG, NEC, Sony, projectors, interactive panels
• Audio & DSP: Biamp, QSC Q-SYS, Shure, Sennheiser, JBL, Bose
• Control & Automation: Crestron, Extron, AMX, Q-SYS scripting
• Video Conferencing: Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Logitech, Poly, Yealink
• Networking & AV-over-IP: Dante, SDVoE, Cisco, Aruba

Essential

• Proven AV/ICT installation and commissioning experience
• Programming DSP and control platforms
• Own tools and full driver’s licence
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently on-site

Desirable

• Experience with Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms
• AV-over-IP or Dante experience
• Background in corporate, education, or enterprise AV projects
