About the role

Smashed Society is seeking a talented Breakfast Chef & Burger Chef to join our vibrant hospitality team in Dayton, WA 6055. This full-time role will see you creating delicious breakfast and burger dishes that delight our customers and contribute to the success of our renowned first flag ship store.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items that will be gourmet and customised to suit the demographic. You must have experience running a full breakfast run with assistant chefs.
2. Prepare and cook a range of burger dishes using quality ingredients. Our Menu also includes Burgers and Sides as we specialise in Smashed Burgers & Coffee.
3. Ensure all food is presented beautifully and in a timely manner. On time every time
4. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Hygeine is extremely important.
5. Assist with menu planning and development as needed
6. Mentor and train junior kitchen staff
7. Adhere to all food safety and health regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a breakfast/burger chef in a similar restaurant environment
• Exceptional cooking skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality food
• Food safety certification
