The Role

We are looking for an experienced Café Manager to lead front-of-house operations at our Barangaroo store. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys running a smooth, calm, high-volume counter-service venue, building strong teams, and delivering consistently excellent customer experiences.

You'll work closely with the ownership team and BOH leadership to set service standards, manage labour, and create a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily front-of-house operations
• Build, train, and develop barista and service teams
• Demonstrate advanced barista expertise to effectively guide and mentor team members in coffee preparation and presentation standards
• Create and manage weekly rosters and labour targets
• Maintain service standards and customer experience
• Monitor workflow, speed, and team communication during peaks
• Support a respectful, professional workplace culture

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 3yrs experience managing a busy café or quick-service venue
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Confidence with rostering and labour management
• A calm, organised approach under pressure
• Pride in service standards and team culture
