About the Role:
As a Sous Chef / CDP, you will:
Prepare and execute menu items, with a focus on yakitori and grill sections
Maintain high consistency, quality, and kitchen standards
Work closely with the Head Chef to manage service and kitchen operations
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and smooth workflow
Support and mentor junior staff, contributing to a positive team culture
About You:
We are seeking chefs who:
Have experience in Japanese cuisine, grill, or yakitori (preferred)
Are strong communicators and team players
Stay calm and precise under pressure during service
Are reliable, driven, and passionate about Japanese food
Hold full-time working rights in Australia (sponsorship may be considered)
