What you'll be doing

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components and assemblies

Operating a variety of metalworking machinery and equipment, such as welding machines, cutting tools, and bending machines

Performing precise cutting, bending, and welding of metal components to exact specifications

Assembling and finishing metal products, ensuring they meet quality standards

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures

Collaborating with the production team to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field

Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints

Excellent welding skills, with experience in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, stick)

Ability to operate metalworking machinery and equipment, such as plasma cutters, press brakes, and bending machines

Attention to detail and the ability to ensure high-quality work

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
