Boss the fryers and run the floor! 2IC wanted for a high-energy, premium fish and chips shop. 494 Regional Visa Sponsorship on offer for the right candidate, plus 2 weeks free rent to help you relocate!
Job description
The Role: Saltmine Fish and Chips is absolutely pumping, and I need a reliable Second in Charge to help me run the floor and keep the fryers firing. We are a premium, high-volume, cook-to-order shop. I’m hands-on and here all the time, but I need a solid right-hand person who can take the reins, manage the rush, and keep the standards high.
The Hours: Let's be completely straight up: this is a 42-hour-a-week gig built on split shifts. You will be working most weekends and pumping right through the school holidays. It's a grind, but you'll be well looked after.
The Deal & The Trial: I don't just hand out sponsorships to anyone; you need to earn it. Here is how we do it:
The 2-Week Trial: We’ll start with a straightforward 2-week paid trial (flat $35/hr) to see if you’ve got the hustle, consistency, and skills to manage the rush.
The Permanent Offer: If you smash those two weeks and prove you can run the floor, we immediately move to a full-time salary package of $85,500 inc. super, and we start the visa sponsorship paperwork on day 15.
The Perks: Need to relocate or get on your feet? I have a room downstairs you can use completely rent-free for your first 2 weeks while you find your own place.
What I Need From You:
Hustle: This is a fast-paced, premium kitchen environment. You need to be quick on your feet and handle high-volume cooking.
Reliability: Show up, work hard, and lead the rest of the crew by example.
Experience: Previous experience in high-volume hospitality, seafood, or fryers is a huge advantage.
If you're not afraid of hard work and want a secure role with a boss who looks after his crew, apply now.
Benefits
The Golden Ticket (Sponsorship): We are offering Subclass 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional) Visa sponsorship for the right candidate. If you want a secure pathway to PR locked in while living on the coast, this is it.
