Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, specializing in seafood and red meat, in line with continental cuisine standards.
Innovate and develop new menu items, ensuring a diverse and exciting dining experience for our guests.
Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory and order supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation, adhering to restaurant standards.
Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef in a busy and dynamic culinary environment (1-3 years).
Culinary degree or relevant certification.
Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.
Expertise in preparing seafood and red meat dishes.
Strong creative flair and a keen interest in developing new dishes.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
Culinary certification or relevant qualifications are preferred.
