Chillipadi is seeking a skilled and reliable Full-Time Chef with experience in Asian fusion cuisine and Australian modern cuisine to join our busy kitchen team. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, season, and cook Asian fusion dishes according to menu requirements
Adhering to food safety and OH&S standards.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
Monitor food preparation and cooking times during service
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste
Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Rostering
Requirements:
Have a minimum 1 year proven experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen
Experience with Asian fusion cuisine preferred
Relevant qualifications in Commercial Cookery (preferred)
Sound knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Full-time availability including one day weekend
Ability to commute/relocate:
Docklands VIC 3008: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
Kitchen: 1 year (Preferred)
