About Lush Rooftop & Bar
Located at 5/2 Thomsons Road, Keilor Park, Lush Rooftop & Bar is a two-level venue offering modern Australian dining, creative cocktails, and a vibrant rooftop experience. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to craft dishes that showcase flavour, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and cook menu items to consistently high standards.
• Assist with menu planning, development, and seasonal updates.
• Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth service.
• Monitor stock levels, maintain cost control, and minimise waste. • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS requirements.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain performance and quality.
• Collaborate with management on menu innovation and supplier coordination.
• Oversee the safe use, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or higher).
• Sound culinary knowledge and understanding of modern Australian cuisine.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Passion for food, creativity, and commitment to excellence.
