Position Summary
We seek a talented chef with a passion for diverse cuisines, a history of senior kitchen roles, and a flair for menu innovation. You will lead by example, work closely with our dedicated team, and play a key part in crafting memorable dining experiences.
Key Requirements
· Proven experience across a range of international cuisines
· Minimum 3-4 years of experience working across international cuisines
· Prior experience in a senior kitchen team position
· Strong teamwork and communication skills
· Demonstrated ability in menu development and creative adaptation
· Commitment to food safety and high kitchen standards
· Australian work rights required, with sponsorship opportunities available for suitable candidates
Role Responsibilities
· Key support team member to the Head Chef
· Prepare and present meals to consistently high standards
· Proven ability to lead and run busy kitchen shifts
· Monitor and maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance
· Manage inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
· Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
· Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
· Adapt recipes and menus to cater for dietary requirements
· Assist with menu planning, including seasonal updates and innovation
· Monitor food costs and support profitability
· Uphold and follow health and safety guidelines at all times
