Walsh's Hotel in Queanbeyan, is looking for talented, creative and committed Chefs & Cooks of all levels to join us.
The Role:
As a member of our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate chefs in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Whether you're a seasoned Chef de Partie, a passionate commis or a well-rounded cook, we welcome chefs & cooks of all levels to contribute their skills and creative energy to our kitchens.
We are also looking for a PIZZA team to run the brand new pizza oven. An exciting addition to the newly expanded and renovated bistro kitchen.
Responsibilities:
· Daily menu preparation & execution during service
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
· Assist in inventory management
· Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements:
· Previous experience working in a professional environment
· Strong passion for food and a dedication to quality
· Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Relevant culinary qualifications are a plus - especially for pizza cooks
· Available to work some weekends and public holidays
· Minimum 2+ years of professional kitchen experience required
· Hotel or pub kitchen experience preferred
