Commercial Aluminium Window Fabricator / Installer

Location: Oakleigh South, VIC

MMT Recruitment is partnering with a well-established commercial aluminium window and door manufacturer to recruit experienced Aluminium Window Fabricators and Installers for their Melbourne-based operation.

This opportunity is suited to skilled tradespeople with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial aluminium systems who take pride in precision, quality workmanship, and seeing projects through from factory to site.

This role is for experienced professionals only – not suitable for apprentices or entry-level candidates.

The Role

Depending on your skill set, you will work as a Fabricator, Fitter/Installer, or both, with responsibilities including:

Fabrication of commercial aluminium windows and doors

Assembly of frames, sashes, glazing systems and hardware

Reading and interpreting shop drawings and architectural plans

Cutting, machining and assembling aluminium systems

Installing aluminium windows and doors on commercial sites

Working with fixed lights, sliding systems, bi-folds and custom frames

Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and compliance standards

Coordinating with supervisors and site teams for smooth installs

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Commercial Aluminium Window Fabricator and/or Installer

Proven experience with commer cial aluminium window and door systems

Confident reading and working from drawings

High attention to detail and pride in finished work

Strong understanding of site safety and WHS requirements

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual and professional in presentation

Australian working rights or eligible for employer sponsorship

Highly Regarded

Experience across both factory fabrication and site installation

White Card

Valid driver’s licence

Experience on commercial or high-end projects
