Join our established kitchen team at Pantano’s Bar & Grill — proudly serving Bathurst for over 15 years. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen environment on a full-time basis.
This role is structured to meet skilled migration and 482 visa sponsorship requirements for suitable candidates.
About the Role
As a Commercial Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of menu items in line with recipes, quality standards, and service requirements. You will work as part of a professional kitchen team to ensure consistent, high-quality food is delivered during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, season, cook and present menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and presentation of all dishes
Operate standard commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Work across all kitchen sections during service as required
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and WHS compliance
Assist with stock rotation and communicate ordering requirements to senior chefs
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
Maintain a clean and organised workstation during service
About You
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and service flow
Ability to work independently and follow standard recipes and procedures
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in food quality and consistency
Reliable, team-focused, and able to perform under pressure
Must have working rights in Australia
Employment Details
Full-time position
Rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts
Immediate start available
Salary: Market rate remuneration in line with the Restaurant Industry Award and applicable skilled migration requirements (including 482 visa thresholds where applicable)
