Acira Consultancy Pty Ltd is seeking a results-driven Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and deliver construction projects in accordance with project scope, budget, and timelines
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel
- Prepare project schedules, work programs, and progress reports
- Monitor project costs, variations, and expenditure to ensure budget control
- Ensure compliance with building codes, Australian standards, and WHS regulations
- Manage contracts, procurement, and documentation
- Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and local authorities
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality assurance standards are met
- Resolve construction issues, delays, and disputes efficiently
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction project management or a similar role
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project management processes
- Sound understanding of Australian building codes and WHS requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera) preferred
