New restaurant in Glen waverley is looking for cooks/chefs of all level. We are looking for full time/ part time/ casual staff for our opening team. We are located right next to the train station, and plenty of parking available.
As a Chef your day-to-day will involve:
Assisting with food preparation and cooking across various sections of the kitchen
Following recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety
Setting up and packing down workstations efficiently
Restocking supplies and assisting with deliveries
Communicating clearly with the team to support smooth kitchen operations
Taking direction from senior chefs and being open to feedback and training
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
We’re looking for someone with:
Full working rights in Australia
experience preferred but not necessary, we are after quick learners and a good attitude.
Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure
A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry
Solid knife skills and confidence working in an open kitchen
Experience with grilling techniques (charcoal or wood) — a bonus
A desire to learn, grow, and build on your qualifications in Commercial Cookery
A collaborative attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team environment
