About the role

Join the talented team at Mollys' as a full-time Cook. Based in the picturesque seaside town of Strahan, Tasmania, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of takeaway food, pizzas and burgers.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare a variety of menu items following established recipes and presentation standards
2. Ensure all food preparation and cooking is conducted in a safe, hygienic manner
3. Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout your shift
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of kitchen operations and menu offerings
5. Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to special requests
6. Collaborate closely with the rest of the kitchen team to deliver a seamless dining experience

What we're looking for

1. 1-2 years of experience as a Cook or in a similar food preparation role
2. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
3. Availability to work including weekends as required
4. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
5. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
7. Strong English and math ability
