We are looking for an experienced Demi chef to join our team FULL TIME, to deliver a large volume of dishes to a high standard. Reporting directly by the Head Chef, where you'll be part of a talented team that is passionate about food and respectful of each other and their environment.
The Rose of Australia Hotel located in Erskineville is a popular venue for locals, celebrations and a casual lunch or dinner. We have a busy bistro trade and exceptionally strong function trade.
We operate under the hospitality award and pay penalty rates and provide a daily family meal for our team. You are more than just a number, you become part of the family.
Our roster is a mixture of days and nights. No shift splits and is a full time role of 5 shifts per week.
About the Role…
5 shifts a week consisting of days, nights and weekends
Delivering exceptional food and service, ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality
Work in a friendly, respected, stale environment
One on One training and development with head chef
What we need from you...
6–12-month experience of larder section and deep fryer section
Pub or bistro kitchen experience is essential for this role
Strong product and culinary knowledge
Qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert III)
Ensure food presentation meets menu requirements and kitchen standards
Function experience highly regarded
Passion for food
