About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team full-time. You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our clinicians across a range of dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Chairside assistance for general and advanced dental treatments including implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal under general anesthetic.

• Infection control and sterilization processes in line with ADA standards

• Surgery preparation and maintenance

• Accurate charting and clinical notes

• Support with reception duties when required, including greeting patients taking payments and bookings

• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience

Ideal Candidate

• Cert III or Cert IV in Dental Assisting (or overseas equivalent)
• Minimum 1-2 years of dental assisting experience required
• Ability to follow documented clinic procedures and processes
• Surgical experience
• Hospital setting experience for surgical procedures assistance is preferred but not essential
• Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilisation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Dental4Windows and HICAPS (desirable)
• Professional, detail-oriented, and maintain a strong work ethic
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Maintain patient confidentiality
