This well-established four-chair clinic in Cairns North has been delivering quality dental care to the community for more than 25 years. Just minutes from Cairns Airport, the practice provides the convenience of a Monday to Friday schedule-making it an ideal setting for maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a truly picturesque region. They are now looking to welcome a committed general dentist to their warm and experienced team. The clinic operates out of five state-of-the-art treatment rooms, each equipped with cutting-edge dental technology. Key Duties
Deliver a wide range of dental services for patients across all age brackets.Offer advice and support to patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care.Create personalised treatment strategies and clearly explain proposed procedures.Work cohesively with the clinical team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.Conduct detailed oral assessments and outline appropriate treatment plans.Build and nurture trusted relationships with both patients and colleagues.Stay current with emerging techniques, technology, and clinical protocols.Accurately document patient histories, findings, and treatments.Identify and manage dental conditions, including gum disease, trauma, and structural issues.Carry out regular check-ups, scaling, and various routine dental interventionsIdentify and manage dental conditions, including gum disease, trauma, and structural issues.Carry out regular check-ups, scaling, and various routine dental interventions.Promote patient education on maintaining long-term oral wellness.Engage collaboratively with fellow dental professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Willingness to relocate to AustraliaBachelor's Degree in Dentistry, Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine.Valid UK dental license with eligibility for Australian registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and associated working visas (with support from the client.)Hold unrestricted APHRA registration and professional indemnity insurance. Relevant qualification recognized by the Dental Board of Australia.Strong interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with both patients and team members.Eagerness to continuously enhance capabilities and broaden clinical expertise.Dedication to delivering exceptional, patient-focused care with sound clinical judgment and high standards.Open to applications from seasoned practitioners as well as recent graduates.A proactive attitude toward professional growth and embracing new opportunities.Confident communicator who collaborates well within a multidisciplinary environment.Holding valid and current Professional Indemnity Insurance coverage.
