 What You’ll Be Doing – Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a fleet of modern buses and coaches.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure all vehicles meet strict safety and compliance standards.
• Operate independently and coordinate with internal teams when needed.
• Promote and adhere to OH&S workplace safety standards.

 Ideal Candidate – Skills & Qualifications

•  Minimum 3+ years post-trade experience as a Diesel Mechanic (bus/coach preferred).
•  Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
•  Experience with top-tier vehicle brands: Mercedes, Volvo, Scania, Iveco, UD (highly preferred).
•  HR Licence (advantageous).
•  Trade-certified (Cert III or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

To be eligible:

•  Hold a recognized trade qualification (e.g., Red Seal, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
•  Pass a Cert III Trade Assessment (e.g., Vetassess or TRA).
•  Meet English language requirements (IELTS 5.0 or exempt country).
•  Provide health, police checks, and proof of funds for visa costs.
•  Be prepared to relocate to regional Queensland upon approval.
