Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Dual Registered Midwife to join a collaborative and supportive maternity service in Regional Victoria! This role offers true continuity of care across antenatal, birth suite and postnatal settings, within an accredited Baby Friendly facility committed to evidence-based, best-practice maternity care.

You will work as part of a professional multidisciplinary team, confidently managing obstetric emergencies alongside GP Obstetricians in a shared care model, while providing high-quality care to mothers, babies and families.

The service includes a 17-bed Midwifery, Paediatric, Palliative and General Medical ward, providing a diverse and rewarding clinical environment with exposure across Neonatal, Special Care Nursery (SCN) and NICU.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Dual Registered Midwife
• Minimum 4 years’ recent experience across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
• Strong clinical skills and confidence managing obstetric emergencies
• Level 3 fetal surveillance qualification (or willingness to obtain – support provided)
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality maternity care
