We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our team in Penrith on a full-time permanent basis. Key responsibilities

Plan, implement and evaluate engaging programs aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports children's development and wellbeing

Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, and use this to inform program planning

Build strong partnerships with families and communicate children's progress in meaningful ways

Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to improve practice and quality outcomes

Support compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including child safety and risk management

Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan and professional learning culture

Essential requirements

ACEQUA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (or working towards, where applicable)

NESA accreditation (if required) and eligibility to work as an ECT in NSW

Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and ECEC legislation/regulations

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)

Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to child-centred practice

Full Australian work rights or ability to meet visa requirements (see sponsorship note below)

Desirable

Experience working as an ECT in long day care (or similar)

Strong mentoring/leadership capability and interest in uplifting team practice

Experience with digital documentation platforms (e.g., Storypark, Xplor, etc.)
