Acira Consultancy Pty Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction and related projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing project requirements, preparing tenders, and supporting cost control to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for projects
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project costs
- Conduct quantity take-offs and material cost calculations
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Assess project risks and include appropriate contingencies in estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Maintain estimating databases, cost records, and pricing schedules
- Assist with value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
-Review variations and provide cost advice during project delivery
- Ensure estimates comply with contractual and organisational requirements

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an estimating role, preferably in construction or engineering
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costing principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Excel (preferred)
