BUSY ARTISAN BAKERY "ORGANIC BREAD BAR" LOCATED IN PADDINGTON SEEKING FOR A NIGHT BAKER TO JOIN OUR TEAM.
We are seeking qualified, experienced full time NIGHT baker and a NIGHT baker assitant
Someone who is passionate about their craft and dedicated to the quality of our products.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle the daily operations of the bakery.
$78,000 – $85,000 per year plus Superannuation

For the assistant position

$64,000 – $70,000 per year plus Superannuation

Night shift hours are 11pm-7am.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;

FOR BAKER:

• Knowledge of deck ovens & baking
• Proofing and preparing for baking
• 2-3 years experience with sourdoughs, hand moulding, shaping, cutting breads
• Mixing experience and understanding the process of sourdough and yeast dough
• Scaling
• Knowledge in a wide variety of different type of flours and seeds
• Strong work ethic and attention to and an eye for detail
• Flexibility and availability to work across rotating roster including weekdays and weekends
• Commitment to working 5 days per week
