DUTIES
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
Prepare, season and cook food for table service
Ensure quality food standard in compliance with health and food regulations
Control temperatures of ovens and pans etc to ensure optimal cooking
Plating up and garnishing dishes and ensuring all dishes are of a high standard
Storing, freezing and preserving food per safety regulations
Cooking according to dietary requirements
Daily stock-take of station
Working in all areas of the kitchen including prep areas
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Hold relevant qualification (Certificate III or higher in Commercial Cooking) and at least 2 years of work experience as a Cook
Three years of experience as a cook in a busy kitchen may be considered in substitution for the formal qualifications above

This is a full-time position. Average 38 hours per week
Salary is in range of $60,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus superannuation commensurate with experience
