Launceston Dental pty ltd Position: Full-time Experienced Dentist at Launceston Dental, an established and trusted practice, seeking a highly skilled and motivated experienced dentist to join our progressive team. With a strong reputation for excellence and a loyal patient base, we're looking for a professional who combines exceptional communication skills with advanced clinical expertise The practice is equipped with up-to-date equipment including: CBCT machine and Digital scanners. We are seeking an experienced Dentist who has great communication skills, is energetic, well presented, and has a passion to grow with our practice. Job Task and Responsibilities Recognize and assist in diagnosing systemic conditions with oral symptoms, including diabetes and other medical disorders Restore oral function and appearance through the design and fitting of removable and fixed dental prostheses Guide and motivate patients to maintain optimal oral health through effective education and care strategies Supervise and collaborate with a multidisciplinary dental team comprising hygienists, therapists, assistants, and dentists Conduct comprehensive dental and examinations using X-rays, saliva analysis, and patient medical histories Perform preventive treatments such as scaling, fluoride therapy, and patient counselling on oral hygiene and disease prevention Provide restorative care including crowns, bridges, implants, and treatment of tooth decay or fractures Perform surgical interventions such as soft tissue biopsies and prescribe appropriate medications Required Skills and Qualifications: Have a recognized dental degree BDS with a current AHPRA registration . Have at least 5 years of experience as a Dentist Australian Dental Experience will be preferred but not Mandatory A post graduate qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Is competent in diagnosing and doing procedure like Root Canal Treatment, Cosmetic Dentistry like composite & Ceramic Veneers and Dental Implants Have outstanding communication and management skills to understand patient requirements. Be eager to go above and beyond to provide exceptional patient care, anticipating patient's needs, and ensuring a positive and comfortable experience that fosters patient satisfaction and loyalty. Be committed to maintaining a high standard of clinical treatment. Experience with Dental Software is preferred but not integral. Be able to work for flexible hours including some after hours.
