Beija Flor is Darwin's busiest and most loved florist, and we're looking for an experienced florist to join our friendly, creative team. You'll work across retail floristry, daily designs and some of the NT's most beautiful weddings and events.
What You'll Be Doing
Designing hand-tied bouquets, vase arrangements and event florals
Preparing and conditioning flowers
Helping customers in-store and over the phone
Processing orders (in-store, phone and online)
Maintaining shop displays and overall store presentation
Weddings and events, including prep, packing and occasional on-site set up
Keeping the workspace clean, organised and safe
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of floristry experience (retail experience preferred)
Confident communicator who builds customer relationships
Sales-savvy mindset – you enjoy helping customers add thoughtful touches to their order
Strong eye for style & colour
Ability to work independently when needed
Physically fit (lifting and carrying required)
Driver's licence (for occasional event setups)
Hours & Roster
This is a full-time (38 hours) role.
Beija Flor operates 7 days a week, and rostered days will vary to support operational needs, including event days and peak floral periods.
Candidates can expect:
A rotating roster, including weekend work
At least one full weekend off per month
Specific days and start times will be discussed with shortlisted candidates to ensure a balanced roster.
