The Opportunity:
Exciting opportunities exist for Fly-In-Fly-Out Chefs to join our dynamic and professional Resources Operations Team in South Australia, Queensland or Western Australia. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner—while proudly upholding ISS’s reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.
This is your chance to showcase your culinary skills in a rewarding role where safety, quality, and flavour come together in a uniquely remote setting in a Casual or Full Time role in the remote mining villages across South Australia.
To be considered:
Must have Australian Trade Qualification of Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher
Proven experience as a chef in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet or function service.
Experience in mining village operations (Desirable)
Must have with a strong ability to meet client expectations for food quality, presentation, and strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
Unrestricted work rights in Australia
Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
Must pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
Driver's License/ Photo ID required
Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
