We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and experienced Front Desk All-Rounder to join our team at our stunning riverfront hotel in Kangaroo Point. This is a hands-on, multi-functional role suited to someone who enjoys both guest interaction and practical, day-to-day hotel operations.
As the face of the hotel, you will be responsible for delivering excellent guest service while also supporting the smooth operation of the property across front desk, housekeeping coordination, and basic maintenance.
About the Role
Full-time position (9 days per fortnight), including one weekend day
Minimum 12-month commitment required
A varied role combining reception, administration, and operational support
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and manage check-in/check-out processes
Handle phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries professionally
Manage reservations, amendments, and cancellations
Process payments and maintain accurate records
Coordinate housekeeping, including preparing cleaner rosters and linen orders
Assist with general cleaning when required
Carry out basic repair and maintenance tasks as needed
About You
Previous experience as a receptionist in a 4–5 star hotel environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Well-organised with good attention to detail
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Confident problem solver with a proactive attitude
Familiar with hotel reservation systems and Microsoft Office
Basic handyman skills for minor maintenance tasks
