Stockton Dental and Medowie Dental are looking for a friendly, confident Dentist to join our growing team. We’re open to both full-time and part-time arrangements and are happy to be flexible for the right person.

We’re located in the Newcastle region, just 1.5 hours north of Sydney. Newcastle offers the perfect balance of city convenience and coastal living, with stunning beaches, a vibrant café scene, great schools, and an easy-going lifestyle. The city has its own airport and excellent connections across Australia.

About Us

We operate two modern, well-established practices in growing coastal communities:

• Stockton Dental – approximately 15 km from Newcastle CBD
• Medowie Dental – approximately 28 km from Newcastle CBD

Both clinics have a loyal patient base and steady demand across all aspects of dentistry and only 20 minutes away from each other.

Our services include:

• General dentistry
• Cosmetic dentistry
• Implant dentistry
• Preventative and family-focused care

You’ll be working in fully digital, modern clinics equipped with:

• Intraoral scanners
• OPG and digital X-rays
• Rotary endodontic systems
• Implant motors
• Intraoral and SLR cameras
• Ambidextrous chairs at both locations

The Role (Flexible & Supportive)

• Full-time or part-time options available
• Start with as little as 2 days per week (part-time), with the option to increase days
• Flexible days to suit your lifestyle
• Day shifts only
• Work independently with the support of experienced principal dentists
• Mentorship Available

About You

You’ll fit right in if you:

• Hold AHPRA registration or are eligible and actively in the process
• Have at least 2 years of clinical experience and are confident working independently
• Enjoy communicating with patients and building long-term relationships
• Take pride in providing high-quality, patient-focused dentistry
• Are friendly, caring, and enjoy being part of a supportive team

International Dentists Welcome
Visa sponsorship is available for suitable international candidates who meet AHPRA requirements to practice in Australia or have successfully cleared Australian Dental Council examination and looking to build a long-term future in Australia.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Medowie NSW 2318: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Dentist: 2 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• AHPRA registration (Required)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Required)
