Position Overview
An excellent opportunity is available for a Specialist General Practitioner / Family Physician to join a newly operational, corporate mixed-billing medical practice located approximately 22 km from Canberra CBD, within the rapidly growing northern Canberra corridor.

The practice benefits from a central, highly accessible location with direct access to public transport, including the Canberra Light Rail, and ample free on-site parking. The patient catchment includes Gungahlin and surrounding suburbs such as Forde, Franklin, Bonner, Amaroo, Palmerston, Moncrieff, Casey, Ngunnawal, Crace, Harrison, Jacka and Throsby.

Purpose-built and modern, the clinic is designed to support efficient, high-quality primary care. Co-located pharmacy and radiology services, together with on-site pathology, enhance clinical workflow and patient convenience.

This is a DPA-classified location, open to applications from international medical graduates eligible for registration with the Australian Medical Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to booked and walk-in patients
• Manage a standard 40-hour working week
• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order appropriate investigations and coordinate specialist referrals
• Optional participation in evening and weekend clinics

Eligibility Requirements

• Primary medical qualification with recognised specialist certification in General Practice / Family Medicine

(e.g. MRCGP, FRACGP, CCFPC, ABFM or equivalent) * Eligibility for AHPRA registration (specialist or general pathway)
