Head Barista – Noosa Heads

We are looking for an experienced Head Barista to lead the coffee program at our Noosa Heads location. This role is focused primarily on coffee quality, consistency, and customer experience.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

• Dialling in and maintaining exceptional coffee quality throughout the day
• Ensuring the machine and grinders are optimised, clean, and well maintained
• Delivering warm, friendly, efficient customer service
• Training junior baristas and maintaining high standards
• Working the till during service
• Managing coffee stock (beans, milk, cups, alternative milks) and communicating low stock
• Contributing to sales growth through quality, speed, and upselling
• Keeping the bar area clean, organised, and running smoothly
• Placing orders for coffee
• Assisting in All Rounder role if required

About You

• 2+ years barista experience (Head Barista or Senior Barista preferred)
• Strong extraction knowledge and ability to dial in confidently
• Great communication and customer service skills
• A passion for quality coffee
• Calm, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to train and support other team members
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Australian work rights or visa sponsorship eligibility required
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa required; visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates
