About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our dynamic team at Hurricane's Grill in Cronulla. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and driving the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our customers. What you'll be doing

• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, plating, and quality control
• Lead and mentor a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of dishes
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborate with the management team to align kitchen operations with the overall business strategy
• Monitor and control food costs, wastage, and inventory to maintain profitability
• Foster a positive and productive work environment in the kitchen

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior culinary role
• Proven track record of leading and managing a team of kitchen staff
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management
• Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
