About the role within both venues
Two exciting opportunities has arisen for experienced Head Chefs to join the team at the renowned Bambini Trust Restaurant & Wine Room in the heart of Sydney's CBD

AND at La Riviera, it's sister restaurant located 170 Phillip St, near the high court.

As the Head Chef of either or venues, you will be responsible for leading a talented kitchen brigade to deliver exceptional Italian and European cuisine within our iconic group.

What you'll be doing

1. Oversee all kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management
2. Develop and refine innovative, high-quality menu items that showcase your culinary expertise
3. Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
4. Lead, motivate and mentor a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff
5. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve kitchen processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (2+ years) as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
• Proven expertise in preparing and presenting Italian and European cuisine to a consistently high standard
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop your team
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creating innovative, flavourful dishes
• Formal culinary training or qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts
