We’re looking for a hands-on, creative Head Chef who wants to grow with us and help build a restaurant that stands out in Melbourne’s dining scene.
What You’ll Do
Manage daily kitchen operations, prep and food cost control
Lead and train a small team (3–4 people)
Maintain consistency and efficiency during busy service
Design and improve seasonal menus
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards
Collaborate with management to refine kitchen systems
What You’ll Bring
4+ years’ experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in Western cuisine (Italian, Mediterranean, Modern Australian or European-style menus)
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Ability to lead a small team in a busy but positive environment
Confidence with cost control and supplier management
Calm, reliable and growth-focused mindset
Valid Australian work rights (visa sponsorship available)
