Key Responsibilities
Design and execute pub classics with modern twists that suit a busy Surry Hills local, drive repeat trade, and fit the Royal Albert vibe.
Control costs while maintaining quality and consistency – your ability to run a tight, efficient ship will really show.
Lead, train, and develop a small, loyal kitchen crew, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Collaborate with the GM on events, specials, and menu evolution to boost food trade.
What We're Looking For
CDP or Sous Chef with 2+ years’ leadership experience and a genuine desire to own and grow a kitchen.
Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced pub environment and delivers under pressure.
Strong WHS, stock control, and cost management skills – commercially minded, not just creative.
