About the Role
You will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy vehicles and lifting equipment, including mobile and fixed cranes, ensuring safe and efficient operations across construction, transport, and infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance, servicing, and repair of heavy diesel engines and crane equipment
Diagnosing and troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults
Working on cranes, lifting equipment, and heavy vehicles in workshop and field environments
Ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards
Collaborating with a skilled team to deliver high-quality outcomes
Preferred Requirements
Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Proven experience working on cranes (mobile cranes, tower cranes, or lifting equipment)
Strong knowledge of hydraulics and heavy equipment systems
Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical faults
Valid driver’s licence and ability to work on large machinery
Ability to work in fast-paced environments and regional settings
Preferred Qualifications
Trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
Experience in construction, mining, or crane operations environments
Additional certifications in hydraulics or heavy equipment (desirable)
