We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join our growing team at our Brisbane and Gold Coast branches. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and Repair: Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tyre rotations, and more.
• Electrical & Hydraulic Systems: Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in trucks.
• Engine Work: Repair or replace engine components, such as fuel pumps, turbochargers, and timing belts.
• Welding & Fabrication: Perform minor welding, cutting, and fabrication repairs as required.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, repairs made, and hours worked.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out following safety standards and company policies.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service to internal and external customers by explaining repair needs and solutions clearly.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as mechanic, working with heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Certifications: preferably an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Skills: Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of heavy road transport fleets in the workshop and field.
• Tools: Must have own hand tools .
• Attention to Detail: High level of precision and attention to detail in repairs and maintenance.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality service.
• Licenses: minimum C class license is required, ideally HR license.
