Duty Manager – Full Time (Visa Support Available)

We are a well-established regional pub located in rural Queensland (Postcode 4804), offering a classic pub environment with modern bar, bistro and gaming facilities.

We are seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to join our management team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build regional experience, secure long-term employment, and potentially obtain employer sponsorship.

Role Details

• Full-time position
• 40–45 hours per week
• Predominantly nights & weekends

About You

Essential:

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in a pub or hotel
• Strong customer service and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of TAB, Keno & Gaming Machines
• QLD RSA & RSG
• Willing to be hands-on across bar, bistro, and gaming operations

Preferred (or willing to obtain):

• RMLV & Approved Manager Licence
• TAB Compliance Training Certificate

Key Responsibilities

• Bar and bistro service (including running meals and clearing tables)
• Supervision of all the staff per shift
• Opening & closing procedures
• Till reconciliation and daily takings
• Gaming machine clearances
• Compliance with liquor and gaming regulations
• Maintaining venue standards and customer experience
• Overall see the hotel daily running, including kitchen and accommodation

This is a hands-on operational role, not a supervisory-only position.
