Acira Consultancy Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel or Motel Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the efficient, profitable, and high-quality management of accommodation services in Sydney, NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day hotel or motel operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Oversee front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services functions
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage staff performance
- Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and maximise revenue
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements
- Manage bookings, reservations, and property management systems
- Monitor property condition and coordinate maintenance and repairs
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel or motel management or a similar role
- Relevant qualification in hospitality, hotel management, or business (preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Sound knowledge of accommodation operations and reservation systems
- Financial management, budgeting, and reporting skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
