About the Role

Skills and Experience

JDA Hotels are looking for an accomplished and highly experienced Hotel/Pub Duty Managers!  The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• Proficiency in both food and beverage management in a high calibre hotel venue with minimum three (3) years’ experience is essential.
• Maintaining a high standard of service to all patrons, while ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
• Ensure smooth running of hotel operations on designated shifts.
• Complete all cash reconciliations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Solid experience and strong understanding of TAB and Gaming facilities.
• Proactively supervise all staff by providing clear and consistent direction, ensuring that high standards are adhered to at all times, as well as promoting a harmonious team environment.
• A candidate with experience in successfully managing events and implementing successful marketing ideas would be looked upon favourably.
• Be willing to take responsibility and accountability
• Ability to mentor and train staff
• The right candidate must have excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus, as well as, be professionally presented and groomed at all times.
• A committed, trustworthy and responsible individual is what we are looking for.  The candidate must be flexible and available to work mostly nights, weekends, public holidays, when rostering demands this.
• An Australian National Police Check within the last 3 months.
• Available for an immediate start.
