Well-established commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning company on the Sunshine Coast is actively recruiting HVAC/R Technicians with a genuine 482 Skills in Demand Visa sponsorship pathway for eligible overseas candidates.

They are already successfully sponsoring one technician and are committed to sponsoring more – this is a rare, long-term opportunity with a reputable business that understands the visa process and focuses on building a stable team.

Package:

• $45 per hour
• Company vehicle
• Phone allowance
• 482 visa sponsorship for suitable applicants (overseas candidates welcome, particularly from Fiji, PNG, India and similar)

Key responsibilities:

• Service, maintenance, repairs and some installations across commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems
• Fault-finding, breakdowns, diagnostics on cool rooms, freezers, display cabinets and cold storage
• Work on hospitality equipment: restaurants, pubs, sporting venues, beverage systems (post-mix machines, fridges)
• Preventative maintenance, performance checks and basic optimisations
• Manage daily jobs autonomously via SimPRO scheduling – no daily shed check-ins
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance (ARCtick), documentation and client presentation

Essential requirements:

• Strong commercial HVAC/R fundamentals (refrigeration + air-conditioning service/maintenance)
• Comfortable with varied work: AC one day, cold room the next, beverage systems another
• Autonomous work style – self-manage jobs, clear communication, reliable "crack on" attitude
• Valid driver's licence
• For 482 sponsorship: qualifications and experience that align with visa requirements (e.g. Cert III Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent + relevant commercial experience)

Highly regarded:

• ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence (or equivalent)
• Experience in hospitality/commercial refrigeration, cold rooms, post-mix/beverage systems
• SimPRO or similar job management software familiarity
