THE OPPORTUNITY
This role offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Auditor to work closely with Partners and senior management on high-quality audit engagements for diverse clients across Australia. You will lead client communication, manage financial statement preparation and oversee billing, while also mentoring junior staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Partners and senior management to deliver high-quality audit services for diverse clients
Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables
Prepare and finalise financial statements, maintaining attention to detail and compliance
Oversee client billing and monitor work-in-progress assessments
Mentor and supervise junior audit staff on larger engagements, providing guidance and support
Communicate directly with clients to facilitate fieldwork planning and completion
Travel to client sites across Australia as required
Participate in internal and external training sessions to stay current with industry standards
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
2+ years’ Senior External Auditor w/ Australian audit experience in an accounting firm
Completed a degree in Accounting
Ready to start or currently enrolled in the CA program
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Able to work independently or in a team
Knowledge of Australian accounting and auditing standards
