THE OPPORTUNITY

This role offers a dynamic opportunity for an experienced Auditor to work closely with Partners and senior management on high-quality audit engagements for diverse clients across Australia. You will lead client communication, manage financial statement preparation and oversee billing, while also mentoring junior staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with Partners and senior management to deliver high-quality audit services for diverse clients
• Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables
• Prepare and finalise financial statements, maintaining attention to detail and compliance
• Oversee client billing and monitor work-in-progress assessments
• Mentor and supervise junior audit staff on larger engagements, providing guidance and support
• Communicate directly with clients to facilitate fieldwork planning and completion
• Travel to client sites across Australia as required
• Participate in internal and external training sessions to stay current with industry standards

EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• 2+ years’ Senior External Auditor w/ Australian audit experience in an accounting firm
• Completed a degree in Accounting
• Ready to start or currently enrolled in the CA program
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Able to work independently or in a team
• Knowledge of Australian accounting and auditing standards
