About the Role
The Cook/Chef will be responsible for supporting all day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, quality, presentation and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Menu planning and developing innovative dishes.
Supervising and coordinating the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations.
Monitoring food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards.
Ordering supplies, managing stock, and controlling food costs effectively.
Training, mentoring, and supporting junior kitchen staff.
Ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, and occupational health regulations.
Preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes with creativity and consistency.
Collaborating with management and front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional service.
Skills & Experience Required.
Proven experience as a Cook / Chef (minimum 3 years preferred).
Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are highly regarded.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
A passion for innovation and a willingness to adapt to evolving menu trends.
